Saw it yesterday with the richmakers. After the movie, our heartbeats weren't back to it's normal rhythm and we felt tired feeling tense throughout the movie.

I want to watch it again. It's fun to think about it.

Bravo, Manoj, bravo.

Huwaaat?!?!?! It's been over a year since I last laid eyes on myLJ. But something nicked my gut and decided to pay a visit, then the next thing I know, I'm already typing lousy grammar. But that's not the point, thing is, geek con is coming up, so I'm giving myLJ some drops of blood to revive it.

How's everyone?! :D

*breathes in ... then out* aaahh.. geek air :) Love it. I've got to waken up that part of me again :)

i. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
ii. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
iii. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
iv. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
v. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Interview from </a></b></a>[info]ashwings

1. Do you have an irrational fear?
urgh.. people dominating my tiny study/personal area

2. Who are you? :D and why in particular are you watching my journal?
I'm from DA too, but have a different username (will leave you a message on DA) (weird username, no user pic yet, leaving you comments). You mentioned there that you have an LJ account so I decided to check it out. You + your friends are very good with Photoshop.

3. Do you have a wierd quirk? Like a mild OCD? Like something has to be a certain way, or it drives you absolutely bonkers?
I can't call it as an OCD just because I haven't consulted anybody about it, then again, I doubt it. Though I do notice things that could be associated with OCD (things on the top of my head): I need and want my room/space to look like organized-and-clean-bling-bling-bling type, Forbidden Thoughts, I'd constantly check the time for reasons I don't know of.., when I read an informative novel (fiction), I'd write down all the facts and google interesting unknowns, I sometimes count things, often check things (because my ass is often on the line)..

4. Whats your favourite song?
did you just asked me that? NOOOoooo.. please, spare me

5. Have any interesting hobbies?
top 3 (supposed-to-be-a-GENERAL-interest / to make me more human): hard to live without music. visual art is a given. martial arts/sports too.

Today's my first time to go up the 2nd floor of Metrowalk's bazar area. My golly! oh how I miss DVDs.. plus they have the ENTIRE BUFFY COLLECTION! 50 discs for 70 each (which makes that P 3500), but you can haggle for 65 each (P 3250), and if you're in luck, 60 each (P 3000).

Lots of new releases, old ones, concerts, and collections in DVD copy. ;)

Last wednesday, my younger brother accidentally tipped over a goblet of water (no one knew how that got close to the tech-area), on my laptop while my younger sis was using it. Sister over-reacted, dad overheard,so there, blah blah, plus my father's verbal lashing.. the cut: We went to the service center somewhere in Manila earlier and found out that water had damaged mostly the left pane keys (spared the expensive mousepad). All in all damage: P2340. My dad seriously thought it was a goner, but he ain't geek-much to know that the boys in TechTV actually aired an episode where they poured water over a laptop. The newer laptops already have a protective-keys-set-up to minimize possible liquid entry for such accidents, but should liquid pass through the sides/vent/below, one may start writing a eulogy.

The Holidays have been holy, and my stomach agrees. My money's sublimating, guess it's time for me to go job-hunting.

For two weeks now, and about to change soon, hopefully:
Current Occupation(s): Internet Gamer madalas kain at tulog lang pahinga ko; My mom's PA; Pala..palamunin

Have a good year to all! -- while I think of things to do and things to change for the year.

Mood: haaay..

earlier, we had our physics final testS to cap off *ehem* the "last" day for our university life. Not so dramatic though [last day], and I like it! I didn't, well, most of us didn't study for the test, so we won't feel so disappointed after, should we haven't been confident with our answers. Dapat ng patayuan ng monumento ang mga nag review pa! Sus!

But now, I've been thinking what ELSE to do tomorrow, and the day after that, and so on..
*sigh* Goodbye, oh my sweet, dear, weekly allowance..

The apply-for-a-job AND the take-a-second-degree viruses haven't kicked in me yet. Maybe they will when I'm running out of savings, or when my body is already half-lard, or maybe tomorrow. Who knows?

Brand New Life Awaits..

ako lang yata natapos ng wala pang driver's license.. hahaha! .. hmn, learning how to drive.. that's a start! ..?

..slayers.. are we having a Christmas party soon?

My gersh *hwooh!*.. Just got home from my first syaping syaping trip at 168.. a new found substitue for Divisoria.. is well airconditioned, more acceptable water closets, a way better foodcourt, an unforgettable bibingka that beats Ferino's for only P 45.00, and better smelling crowd compared to what has been compromised with before.

Is also a good experience because we went there before 7:15 AM to get a good parking place, so we didn't have to carry around things all day. We had great buys that one can resell with 150% (at the least!!!) more of the price.

Is all, I'm beat.

snip from a buffyverse site

In the latest Big Issue, Sarah Michelle Gellar discusses why she didn’t want to carry on making Buffy.

"You think about it ever year for eight years (sic): when is the right time? But all the signs pointed to the eighth year. I was emotionally and physically exhausted. I wasn’t being challenged in the way that I needed any more.

"I really didn’t have any [input]. Maybe I should have, ’cause then we wouldn’t have got so lost. It took me a while to work up the nerve to say something.

"It didn’t feel like Buffy. But it’s easy to be vocal now, because Joss isn’t going to be yelling at me tomorrow."

The Big Issue is sold by homeless people to support them in getting off the streets.

I have a long test tomorrow, an assignment to finish, researching to do, download D12's How Come for a friend, and a finals test on thursday. That's for this week (should Sunday be the start of it) and I'm lounging with the net. I'm not done reviewing yet, haven't found the real mp3 copy of How Come, and my hair's still wet. But I have my pants on, I've eaten breakfast, came across , and I love the smell of this white towel wrapped around me, so I guess it's going to be a good week! Yay!! :D

Darn't! I missed Gilmore Girls last night..*sigh*.. Oh, I'm supposed to be happy today. *smiles*

more 2005 calendar goodies!! stranger..from the outside.. (aaahhh)

We're finally done with the course 1 exam, and I'm not really bothered by our answers (except for the overachievers who're expected to pass course 1 in just one give). pass or not, we'll live.. i hope. SOA will release the results on January. I still show my teeth for a second give can be done with on May, though I regret paying $95+ document shipping fee.

a total of 53 candidates were listed ( I think it's a nation-wide count ) but not all 53 took it. a bleeding 4 hour exam which fried our brain, blah blah,.. Not really want to think about it right now NEXT TOPIC!

after that, we walked from the FGU Bldg to Greenbelt, had one heck of an unforgettable lunch at Italianni's, and watched The Forgotten.. ( I can't get over Julianne Moore's lovely hair!).. wish it wasn't a sci-fi movie *sigh*

ok, that was the break, snap back to the lined-up tests and final exams.. *grunt, then smile :D*

the downs:
spent hours "studying" in front of my portable+net, for two consecutive exams to end this school week. but i think it didn't pay off. serves me right! I didn't actually study super for those, surfing the net and downloading stuff is more like it. Blah! Yes, I am bad. Forgive my slothful behavior and let's move on?..
.. next, somewhat connected with my "studying" act, I missed (for the Nth time!!!) another cattle-call (SMG in GRNG as they call it) just because I've a test the following day.

This term ought to flow H2O-smoothly on my palm, but it seems like it morphed into green icky goo that crept up my arms and is wringing my neck!! GAR!! things should be a little bit lighter after November 4, then more paperwork for the non-majors after that (generals consume more of my time than the majors)

beauty of it:
from previous post.. my LJ definitely looks better (kudos to Faith),
more sleep
practiced twice
never failed to do my net rituals
my old man's better than his condition last week
watched SaTC, Carnivale, ++
slept some more :D

I hope everyone else will have a great loooong weekend..
--leave me and my reviewers.. tah tah!!

'nuff of that.. time for BtVS!! :D *i push the pause button for the real world*
